Hey this is my first blog post.  Thinking I'm just gonna make this my new journal.  Just read xamuel's blog, read about the air force, positive affirmations, and improving my life.  I want to be smarter and I have always thought new learns make you smarter, David D told me.  Now this guy is telling me the same thing.  It makes sense to me.  Some new things to consider doing are to create a blog, travel, learn a new language, and work out.  I've always been working out but I thoroughly enjoy it and want to keep getting stronger and healthier so I will continue.  He said having a blog increased his conversation skills.  He was talking about experience points like in a video game.  Whenever you do something new, you get better in all other areas of you life.  I'll give it a try.

The air force core values according to xamuel's blog are

1. Integrity first
2. Service before self
3. Excellence in all we do

My understanding of integrity is doing what you say you will do.  But also to be be completely present and have your heart in everything you are doing.  It is also has to do with honesty.  Being honest with yourself, taking responsibility for yourself, and being honest with others.

My previous understanding of service before self is it always do what others want you to do.  To be approval seeking.  But now I understand it differently.  Xamuel was talking about servicing others by being a good leader, especially if no one else will lead.  Remember though that I am the leader of myself, and I choose every action that I do, no one can control me.  That is why I must accept everything in my life right now as it is.  And be grateful for life because it is all an intense learning experience.  Kinda felt weird typing that.  Also, to truly serve others in the best way possible, you but take care of yourself the best you can.  I must know the difference between really helping someone out, and hurting myself and them in the long run.

Excellence in all we do is a core value that I really feel good about adopting.  It send emotions through me that feel amazing.  Doing everything the best I can will eventually create excellence in all I do.  In order to do the best I can, I must be present, and thinking positively.

I was reading a book called the present.  It was saying that the present is the truth.  It was a very interesting book anyway, saying evolution is true and that we were all once everything that lived on this planet.  We were all at one point bacteria, the first living organisms on the planet.  Then as we evolved we became different creatures like fish, frogs, vultures, wolves, crabs, starfish, monkeys, cave men, birds, owls, EVERYTHING.  We should be extremely grateful to be at the point we are now in our lives.  To be human, to have a brain that can be aware.  To think and feel.  We can do many things other organisms can't now because we have evolved past them.  It talked about living in a spiritual place where all positive emotions are experienced.  We skills feel a drive to do things because we love the positive emotions we experience when we do them.  There is no fear of anything, no failure, all pleasure.  Soon we will not have a concept of what fear or failure is.  There will be no fear-failure spectrum.  We will only know pleasure.  I feel this will happen not because bad things will stop happening to us, but our perspective will completely change and we will either know how to avoid negative things, or know that it occurred because we created it and we have to learn more.

Cool I enjoyed typing all this out and doing it in the future.  If anything, it's improving my typing skills.

I want to continue doing this because I like the reason Xamuel is written his blog.  To provide value to other people.  This is also providing value for me because I am doing something productive and new, learning and express my thoughts about it, typing and using words to express emotions.  I feel like it will only improve my knowledge on the English and other languages to further improve my conversational skills.  I will know how to form a sentence to make it easily understandable and get my point across efficiently and to get the best impact,
